Randy Martin from Daleville, Virginia, is the focus of the story we’re about to share. In 1993, he felt a calling to monastic life and the seminary, leading him to sell his cherished 1936 Ford Sedan to fund his studies. The car held numerous fond memories for him.

At the time, those around him didn’t fully grasp the sentimental value of the automobile, leaving him heartbroken. Martin’s daughter, Stephanie Hamren, vividly remembers the pain and sadness on her father’s face as he spoke about his beloved car.

Despite parting with it, Martin remained grateful for the cherished memories associated with the vehicle. He often expressed a longing to see it again, to revisit the happy times and youth it represented.

Determined to reunite her father with his lost car, Hamren embarked on an extensive search.

In 2014, after a prolonged effort, the family located the car in New Orleans, halfway across the nation. They purchased and transported it, capturing the heartwarming reunion in the video above.
